Loyalty is one of our key values here at Monadelphous and Subcontracts Manager Nilesh Sheth is a great advocate for that, having recently celebrated his 15-year work anniversary!
We recently had a chat with Nilesh and asked him about his time at Monadelphous, the highlights and the changes he’s seen in 15 years.
Having started his career as a Senior Project Engineer in 2007, Nilesh said one of his biggest opportunities and highlights came about at a Newman hub in 2008.
“At the time it was one of the biggest projects Monadelphous had won and I was thrilled to be a part of it.”
“It was a different approach to building things back then, before modularisation became the popular method but it was a great project to be a part of and a highlight of my career,” said Nilesh.
We asked Nilesh how he has seen Monadelphous change during his 15 years with us, given the world has changed so much in that time.
“Monadelphous has been quite innovative during my time, the business has pivoted to new ways of working and just as technology and processes have advanced, Monadelphous has too.”
“What sets Monadelphous a part is the people’s dedication to safety and wellbeing; it’s a very supportive environment and I look forward to spending more years here!” said Nilesh.
When asked what motivates him, Nilesh said he keeps a positive mindset and aims to maximise his productivity every time he comes to work.
“There’s two factors for reaching your goals that contribute to commitment and it’s the importance of something and your ability to keep a positive mind.”
Aside from being dedicated to his work, Nilesh enjoys spending his time travelling, playing music and challenging people in chess.
