Whether it's delivering key project milestones, securing future opportunities, supporting our communities or recognising the achievements of our people, there has been plenty happening across Melchor over the past couple of months. I'd like to start by congratulating our recent award recipients, including Conor Downes and Muhammad Shafqat, who were named the September and October Employees of the Month. Thank you for the contribution you make to our projects, teams and culture each day, and well done to everyone who was nominated. I'd also like to recognise Petrus Burger, our latest Talking Trowel Award recipient. This award celebrates those who go above and beyond to support their teammates and contribute to the strong culture that exists across our business. Congratulations and thank you for the positive impact you continue to make. Another highlight this month was seeing the work of our team at Project Ceres recognised at the EC Leadership Conference. The Perdaman team took out the EC Innovation Award for their Urea Storage Shed Wall innovation, delivering significant improvements in both safety and productivity. Faced with the challenge of constructing large concrete walls safely and efficiently, the team developed a mobile formwork system mounted on wheels that could be lowered, repositioned and reused between pours. The solution reduced the need for repeated formwork installation, improved safety outcomes by reducing exposure to working at heights, and generated an estimated saving of more than $350,000 while recapturing approximately 42 days within the construction schedule. Congratulations to Andy Hardeman, Jack Sweeney, Owen Coates, Dan Munro, Lorrany Ferreira, Alan McSharry and everyone involved in this outstanding achievement. It's a great example of the innovation and practical problem-solving that exists across our projects every day. Outside of project delivery, it has also been fantastic to see so many of our people giving back to the community. Recently, members of our team volunteered with Fair Game Australia, helping clean, restore and prepare sporting footwear and equipment for communities around the country. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, and to those who have already put their hand up for future sessions. September also saw our teams come together to support R U OK? Day and recognise the important work of MATES in Construction. These initiatives provide an important reminder of the value of staying connected, checking in with colleagues, and looking out for one another. Thank you to our Connectors, ASIST workers and volunteers who continue to support these conversations across our business. Across the portfolio, our teams continue to make strong progress. At Cloudbreak BESS, the Melchor scope has now been completed, and the team is demobilising from site. Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering a successful outcome for our client. At Brockman Syncline 1, civil works are now approximately 70% complete, with the team recently commencing works on the Kerman NPI scope. The team at Car Dumper 4 is currently in the middle of a major shutdown campaign, replacing the car dumper cells. These works require significant planning and coordination and have been delivered to a high standard. At the Port Maximisation Project, works have been completed and the team has demobilised from site, with only minor completion activities remaining. Meanwhile at Perdaman, work continues across both Site C and the Port, where approximately 140 personnel are supporting delivery of this significant project. At the Pilbara Ports Authority Water Treatment Plant, electrical and above-ground plumbing works are nearing completion as the team moves closer to handover. The team at Jimblebar has now completed approximately 85% of civil works for the Train Load-Out project, while at Utah Point, paving design activities and concrete trial testing continue to progress. While our project teams continue to deliver for our clients, I'd also like to acknowledge the efforts of our pre-contracts and tendering teams. Their work behind the scenes plays a critical role in keeping opportunities moving through the pipeline and positioning the business for future growth. As we head towards the end of the year, the business remains in a strong position with a number of promising opportunities ahead. None of this would be possible without the dedication, capability and teamwork shown by our people every day. Stay safe, look after one another and keep up the great work.
