While many were able to take some well‑earned time off, a number of people worked through. I want to extend a sincere thank you to those who sacrificed this time to keep the machine running. This update follows a familiar theme: new project wins, strong tendering activity, and consistently solid performance across the business. We continue to meet our safety and financial targets, and we’ve welcomed more talented people into the team, strengthening our capability as we grow. Work for the Perdaman Burrup Urea Project near Karratha is progressing well, and we’re making excellent headway on the Geraldton Port Maximisation Project. At Jimblebar, we’re excavating significantly more rock than originally planned, which has slowed things down, but overall progress on the TLO Replacement Project remains positive. We’ve now mobilised to Brockman Syncline 1 as part of an integrated team with EC Projects. It’s early days, but we’ve made a strong start. Our team at CD4 continues to build on the success of the CD3 project, and we’ve also kicked off a small but important lithium project in Kwinana – maintaining a valued relationship with a previous client. On a more personal front, it was great to see Mick Ablett, Lewis Henry, Lucas Henry and Kailan Tamarua volunteering their time with Fair Game in Port Hedland earlier this month. They spent the afternoon running games and activities for local kids, helping create a fun, energetic, and inclusive environment. Their involvement was a fantastic reflection of our values in action and a reminder of the positive impact our people can have within our communities. Dylan Ogilvie was also invited to join an on‑stage panel at the Webuild Safety Excellence Forum in Perth last month, where he contributed to discussions on safety culture and the role of subcontractors. Drawing on Melchor’s project experience, he shared valuable insights that reflected the depth of our capability and the standards we uphold. It was an excellent opportunity to showcase our expertise, and Dylan did a great job in representing the business. We also recognised several outstanding team members over January and February. Our January Employees of the Month were Danyon Pember, for his resilience and leadership in implementing the InEight processes for TLO, and Donny Grey, whose safety leadership and genuine care for his teammates continue to set the standard across our sites. In February, Gina Lopez was acknowledged for her professionalism, sound judgment and the positive impact she has had on our recruitment function. Our Talking Trowel Champion, Teinakore Paraia, was also awarded for his exceptional attitude, safety focus and leadership on the ground. Congratulations to Danyon, Donny, Gina and Tee – we’re proud of the contribution each of you makes to the Melchor team. Our employee numbers continue to grow across both office and site teams, and it’s been great to welcome so many new faces. Please take a moment to say g’day and help them settle in as they find their feet. We continue to have strong momentum, and our number one priority remains unchanged: delivering safely.
