Hello again. Firstly, we should all acknowledge our fantastic safety performance recently, we’ve continued on a world-class trend with our total recordable injury frequency rate (TRIFR) at 1.58. The figure alone is something you should all be incredibly proud of achieving, when you overlay this with what we’ve been delivering across our projects during this time – we couldn’t be any prouder of such a great outcome that represents the team’s hard work and dedication in living our values and keeping each other safe, and also delivering on our promises!
On the work front we have been able to meet some key milestones, with a number of major projects completed or nearing completion. Last month we communicated the pipeline of work on the horizon, and the number of opportunities that are in our sight that will continue to keep you busy. This is still the case, with a high level of tendering activity and many opportunities showing great promise.
PROJECTS UPDATE
From 27 May to 3 June, we commemorate National Reconciliation Week which recognises two significant milestones in Australia’s journey toward reconciliation – The 1967 Referendum and the 1992 High Court Mabo Decision. This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, Be Brave. Make Change, challenges all Australians to be brave and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so we can continue to make change for the benefit of all Australians. I encourage you all to reflect on this journey and get involved where you can.
As always, stay safe look after your teammates, ask are you ok and remember the safe way is the only way. Until next time.
Paul and Brett
