Leadership Updates
2 Minute Read

Welcome back to Around the Sites! We’ve redeemed our safety performance over the month after a challenging August, with an improvement across our safety statistics due to your ongoing focus and dedication to keeping yourselves and your teammates safe.

All of our projects performed well on the safety front, sharing our lessons learnt from dropped objects from our previous month’s experience, enabling us to have an increased focus and vigilance in the field. Thank you for your commitment.

A number of our projects came to an end in the last month and have fully demobilised. Our Recruitment team have worked tirelessly on the redeployment of people to other projects, which is no easy task!

As we’ve said before, while we wrap up projects, we are incredibly busy in tendering with a significant pipeline of opportunities for us to secure and provide ongoing employment for you. Watch this space.

Let’s take a look at some of the projects we’ve completed in the last month, and celebrate our achievements:

  • With very positive feedback, we are now demobilised from our Rio Tinto shutdown campaign in Tom Price. We’re in the final stages of commercial and contractual close out. A fantastic job done by Project Manager, Paige Griffiths and the whole team on delivering a successful package of work with a satisfied customer.
  • After 14 months of successfully supporting Rio’s new development, Gudai-Darri, we have now completed our works and demobilised. Myself (Paul) and Mark Cox attended site recently to discuss the project performance and were provided strong positive feedback about the teams performance. Well done Mark and the team.
  • More than a year post construction completion at BHP’s South Flank Project, the ongoing additional Inflow support works have wrapped up. Another exceptional display by the team on why Mono’s is a trusted contracting partner.
  • Both our SMP and E&I packages of work have now completed at the Kemerton Lithium Project (KLP), with our team demobbing from the South-West project. Commercial and contractual close out in underway. A job well done by all teams, Jugjit Sidhu and Zeljko Rezic, with reports from our customer positive on our performance.

Now looking at our works in action:

  • Work commenced on the shutdown at the Tronox Project in Broken Hill. It’s a challenging shutdown, but it’s progressing well with works due to finish in mid-October.
  • At Talison Lithium’s Greenbushes our team is gradually growing on site to deliver the SMPE&I works on the Mine Services Area (MSA). The project setup is currently setting a standard for safety and productivity and is only set to get better over the life of the project.
  • In the Pilbara, we’ve mobilised to a new project with numbers growing to more than 230 in the last month to support SMPE&I works on a new mine development.

Thank you to everyone who completed the Monadelphous Employee Engagement Survey, the results are being analysed as we speak. We’ll provide a detailed update on the findings in coming editions and key actions we’ll be taking as a result.

If you’re in Perth, for the third time we’ll be undertaking a volunteering day with the Perth Homeless Support Group on Sunday, 23 October. From 8.30am – 10am in the Perth City, we’ll be helping setup and handout much needed items to people experiencing homelessness. You can register here if you’re interested.

Stay informed, stay focused – staying safe is a relentless task of which we never compromise!
