This year, we’re proud to celebrate an incredible milestone – 15 years of service for Cindy, whose dedication, versatility and team-first approach have made a lasting impact across Inteforge.
Cindy first joined Inteforge (then SinoStruct) in 2007 as a Contracts Administrator before briefly stepping away to pursue a career offshore. After quickly realising the offshore lifestyle wasn’t for her, she returned in 2011 and has been a valued member of the team ever since, supporting Inteforge through its growth and evolution over the years.
Reflecting on her role, Cindy describes herself as a ‘Jack of all trades’ and said no two days are ever the same. Her career journey has been anything but conventional. After many years in banking, she took a leap into a new industry, building new skills and embracing unexpected opportunities along the way.
One of Cindy’s standout memories was helping establish Inteforge’s original Beijing office.
“It was my first trip to China, and I spent two weeks helping organise the office setup and working alongside our first Chinese national employees. It was an incredible experience,” she said.
Outside of work, Cindy is passionate about supporting awareness of Hidden Disabilities. Following a diagnosis of aggressive ocular melanoma in 2025, Cindy joined the Hidden Disabilities community and has become a strong advocate for greater understanding and recognition in workplaces.
“There is still not enough awareness in the corporate world. It’s an ever-evolving community that is recognised by many organisations around the world," she said.
Her commitment to making a difference extends beyond the workplace. In 2024, Cindy stepped well outside her comfort zone and participated in the World’s Greatest Shave, raising an impressive $6,500 – more than six times her original fundraising goal.
When asked what she enjoys most about working at Inteforge, the answer is simple.
“We have a fantastic team, and everyone works really well together," she said.
"The collaborative environment is something I genuinely value.”
As Cindy looks to the future, she hopes to spend more time giving back through community volunteering while continuing to contribute her wealth of experience and knowledge.
Congratulations Cindy, on 15 years of outstanding service. Thank you for your dedication, resilience and the positive impact you continue to make across the Inteforge team.
