I hope everyone got a chance to relax over the festive season. And, for those who worked through – thank you for your dedication, we appreciate you! In this edition, we catch up on a few exciting things from the back end of 2024 – in November, we celebrated our first year working with Whitehaven Coal and connecting with the community at the Blackwater Community Open Day. In Gladstone, we continued our strong working relationship with Central Queensland University on its fifth annual STEM Camp. We hosted 14 students to get them excited about the prospect of a career in STEM, as well as exploring the range of career opportunities we offer here. In January, I celebrated my 20th anniversary at Monadelphous – time flies, as it feels like just yesterday I was at Sleat Road (old Perth head office) as a business manager. I shared some of my favourite memories of my time (so far) [here.](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/in-the-loop/some-mongrel-has-stolen-my-bloody-mud-crab) Finally, I’m pretty excited to share that M&IS have launched a podcast – we were keen to explore a new way to connect the division and share updates in a way that wasn’t another email or death by PowerPoint. You can listen to the podcast anytime, anywhere [here](https://soundcloud.com/communications-895979024/mis-podcast-episode-1/s-77N3vn2pWje?si=294986450bd84af5b053d589a291c534&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing).
