G’day everyone

Welcome to the latest edition of In The Loop!

In this edition, we take a moment to get to know our rail team who recently joined the Eastern Region business, we catch up with Rachel Aston from NSW Regional Operations and we share some of our recent community sponsorship activities.

Our two recently announced contract extensions out of Gladstone demonstrate the value of the work our teams do and the strong customer relationships they have built.  The first is a two year extension at Shell QGC’s Curtis Island Operations for midstream maintenance and turnaround services, a contract we have held since 2013. A second extension, also for two years, is for Queensland Alumina Limited where we have provided mechanical maintenance services since 1994.  Well done to all involved in securing these extensions.

A warm welcome to the rail team, who joined the Eastern Region in December last year. Their high-performing culture and efficiency means they have a strong reputation and makes them a great addition. You can get to know a bit more about them in this newsletter. We also spend a few minutes with Rachel Aston, Superintendent NSW Regional Operations, as she shares some of her career highlights at Monadelphous.

I also want to mention International Women’s Day, which was on Friday 8 March. This year the theme was ‘Inspire Inclusion’.  There were a number of activities celebrating International Women’s Day, including a morning tea In Brisbane and presentation from 4Voices, a charity which supports women and families experiencing domestic violence.  There were also a number stories shared across the business to celebrate the many high achieving women in diverse roles across Monadelphous – follow our social media channels for more.

I am looking forward to another successful year ahead following on from our stellar 2023.

Take care and stay safe.

Duane
