In the Loop

Blast, paint, repeat

Written by Communications | 7 May 2026

Our team in NSW has recently stepped things up, with two new mobile blast and paint trailers joining the fleet, and they’re already making an impression on site.

The addition comes off the back of a clear need for more flexible, self-sufficient equipment. While many still rely on external machinery to move gear, our team saw an opportunity to do things differently.

Packed with the latest generation blasting and painting technology, the trailers feature 450cfm compressors, integrated hose reels, 500L water tanks and remote operation capability.

One of the standout features is the ability to switch seamlessly between dry and wet blasting, making them adaptable across a wide range of project conditions.

That flexibility is becoming increasingly important, particularly as dust exposure continues to be a growing focus across the industry, and wet blasting helps reduce airborne particles, supporting safer, cleaner work environments on site.

The two new additions bring the NSW fleet to four owned trailers, alongside several subcontractor units currently on hire and it’s fair to say they’ve been popular. In fact, there’s already a bit of friendly competition among crews to get their hands on them.

More than just new equipment, this investment reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering safe, high-quality and responsive solutions for clients while making sure our people have the best tools to get the job done the Monadelphous way.
