M&IS NSW Operations are thrilled to announce our fleet in NSW is getting a green makeover with the introduction of five brand-new hybrid Toyota Corollas, rented through local indigenous company Lewis Auto Hire. This exciting development exemplifies our dedication to reducing our carbon footprint, aligns with our commitment to net zero, supports indigenous companies, and also promises substantial cost savings.
Why Hybrid Corollas?
Hybrid technology offers a simple yet significant step towards achieving the common goal of net zero emissions. The Toyota Corolla is renowned for its exceptional fuel efficiency and low emissions, making it a perfect fit for our operations where site spec vehicles are not required. These corollas are dynamic hybrids, which means they charge whilst driving.
Cost Savings: Up to $600 per month, per vehicle
With reduced fuel consumption and lower maintenance costs, we estimate that each of our new rental hybrid vehicles can save us up to $600 per month per vehicle. This hybrid fleet of five could result in $36,000 of annual savings! These cost savings can be reinvested into more sustainable initiatives, furthering our commitment to a greener future. The hybrids replace five of our existing externally rented diesel Hilux’s and are a more efficient option for all of the offsite driving undertaken in NSW.
