Alevro’s award success continues!
We are proud to announce that Alevro has taken out not one, but two awards at the 2025 Crane Industry Council of Australia (CICA) Lift of the Year Awards held in Brisbane.
Alevro was awarded Project of the Year for its outstanding execution of the Pluto Train 2 Project, one of Australia’s largest and most technically demanding heavy haul and heavy lifting operations. The project involved transporting and installing modules weighing up to 4,550 tonnes with precision and innovation, setting a new benchmark for modular LNG infrastructure delivery.
In addition to the top prize, Alevro also received the People’s Choice Award in the same category, a powerful endorsement from peers across the lifting industry and a testament to the respect and recognition the team has earned.
“This recognition reflects the dedication, expertise and collaboration of our team, and the strong support we’ve had from our valued client throughout the project,” said Alevro Joint Venture Manager, Rod Stribley. “At Alevro, we remain acutely aware of the privilege it is to engage in projects of this magnitude and scope. We’re very proud of the work we do and grateful to be recognised for delivering excellence in heavy lift and transport.”
In particular, The Pluto Train 2 compressor module installation presented a challenge unlike any previously undertaken in the LNG sector. The scale, weight, and precision required for the jack-down operation demanded a solution that simply did not exist off the shelf. Alevro developed a tailor-made methodology to safely and accurately lower a 3,600-tonne prefabricated module onto its foundation, an operation never before executed in this way.
This recognition reflects Alevro’s capability to deliver safe, efficient and forward-thinking solutions for the most demanding heavy lift projects.
This brings our amazing Pluto Train 2 Journey to a spectacular and fitting conclusion. Congratulations and thanks to everyone who made this achievement possible!
