The carnival is a highlight of the community calendar.  The vibrant, two-day family carnival attracts over 12,000 people and is a wonderful opportunity for the community to connect with a range of attractions including amusement rides, sideshow alley, food stalls and live music - this event has something for everyone!   Monadelphous was proud to support Spinifex Spree Carnival again this year, continuing to invest in the communities where we live and work. Some of our locally based Monos team members took their families for a day out, soaking up the entertainment from the Loco Lounge, getting their adrenaline rush for the year with various rides on offer and topping off their day with a spectacular fireworks display.   As we work to sustain and strengthen our ties within the Port Hedland community, we recognise the value of investing in events like this one, ensuring we leave a positive legacy, and our people can take pride in being part of the Monadelphous family.    ![The Fix Blog Aug7](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/The%20Fix%20Blog%20Aug7.jpg?width=600&height=338&name=The%20Fix%20Blog%20Aug7.jpg)   ## Leave a comment Previous Post Let’s meet Jess Next Post Alevro awarded for innovation  ## Recommended For You [![](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/hubfs/On%20the%20Hook%20March%20Blog%20Images.jpg)](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/on-the-hook/team-spirit-prevails-despite-midway-cancellation) [Community](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/on-the-hook/tag/community) 1 Min Read ### [Team spirit prevails despite midway cancellation](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/on-the-hook/team-spirit-prevails-despite-midway-cancellation) This year's Rotto Swim witnessed a team from Heavy Lift take on the 20km swim.
