A Christmas message from your E&I leaders

Written by Communications | 17 Dec 2024

As 2024 draws to a close, it’s a great opportunity to reflect on the significant milestones and achievements we’ve accomplished together this year.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our team, we’ve celebrated the successful completion of several projects, including Christmas Creek, Mt Weld, TUL and Kathleen Valley. These achievements are a testament to the effort everyone has put in, and I couldn’t be prouder of the outcomes we’ve delivered.

We’ve also wrapped up our work in Mongolia with site fully demobilised ahead of Christmas, marking a strong end to a remarkable effort by the team.

Our ongoing projects, including Jansz-Io, Car Dumper 3, Chemical Grade Plant 3, Orebody 32, and Western Range, continue to progress well and I’m confident they will deliver equally strong results in the new year.

Looking ahead, we’ve secured exciting new opportunities, such as Pluto Train 1 and Prominent Hill, which set the stage for another productive year.

In Gladstone, our team continues to achieve excellent results, and we are exploring potential opportunities to expand our work there while maintaining outstanding day-to-day operations.

Tendering activity has remained exceptionally high throughout the year, and I want to thank everyone involved in ensuring we consistently put forward our best efforts.

As we move into the holiday season, I’d like to remind everyone of our Finishing Strong, Starting Stronger campaign. This initiative is designed to support our teams’ wellbeing as we approach the end of the year and prepare for the next.

To those who will remain on site during Christmas, thank you for your commitment and hard work. I hope you’ll take the opportunity to recharge in the New Year. For those who can enjoy a well-earned break, please take care of yourselves and your families during this time.

Thank you all for your contributions to making 2024 a year to remember. I look forward to the exciting opportunities the new year holds and to what we can achieve together in 2025.

Wishing you all a safe and well-deserved Christmas and a happy New Year!
