Leadership Updates
1 Minute Read

As we find ourselves at the close of another year, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the significant milestones and achievements we've accomplished, in 2023.

Amidst the hustle and the bustle of our daily operations, it's easy to overlook the magnitude of our collective achievements. Across our business unit, some of these include:

  • Commencement of our 4C project in Mongolia and have been recordable incident free for 12 months. We have recruited and mobilised over 500 personnel to the Project.
  • Securing our first major stand-alone E&I package (Jansz).
  • Achieving excellent financial results for our Gladstone branch, a remarkable 10-15% increase from the previous year.
  • Supported tendering for Major Projects which has seen us secure the following integrated (SMPE&I) projects:
  • FMG Christmas Creek
  • FMG TUL
  • Albemarle Pyromet
  • Albemarle Reagents
  • BHP CD3
  • Liontown Kathleen Valley
  • Talison CGP3
  • Successfully recruiting and onboarding approximately 50 new staff and supervision along with our rapidly growing electrical workforce of around 60 personnel.
  • Celebrating service milestones of 8 personnel (3 x 5yrs, 3 x 10yrs and 2 x 15yrs).
  • Submission of several EC innovations within both the Mongolia and E&I teams which we received a special commendation for our remote emergency lights and safety handles on our project in Mongolia.
  • Recruited 07 electrical apprentices and 03 new graduates who will be joining the E&I team early 2024

I want to take this moment to express my thanks to each and every one of you for your invaluable contributions to these achievements. These milestones result from our collective efforts, and I thank you for the crucial role each of you plays.

Looking ahead to the project scheduled for 2024, it's clear that a busy year lies ahead. I encourage each of you to take this time to unwind, relax, and recharge so we are all prepared for what is ahead of us.

During the Christmas period, several projects will remain operational; thank you to those who have volunteered their time for this commitment. For those fortunate enough to spend time at home, please take good care of yourselves and your families.

I am genuinely proud of what we've achieved this year and look forward to the opportunities the coming year holds.

Here's to a well-deserved break and a promising New Year!
