Catching up with the team in Gladstone

We recently caught up with our team at Gladstone to provide an update on their operations. 

Over the past year, the team has secured significant projects and maintained their commitment to delivering excellence across a diverse portfolio of work. 

Recent Highlights 

• Return to Gladstone Ports Corporation Limited (GPCL): Following last year’s re-engagement, we have now secured another project with GPCL, reinforcing our strong relationship with the customer. 

• BMD Constructions and McConnell Dowell (MBJV) contracts: The team has mobilised for two contracts with the MBJV on the Fitzroy to Gladstone Pipeline project. Work is planned to commence in January 2025, with the main package set to begin in February and conclude in August.  

• Alpha High Purity Alumina (HPA) Commercial Plant construction: Collaborative efforts with the design team are paving the way for the construction of Alpha HPA's commercial plant. Underground electrical services are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2025, with the main plant construction starting in the fourth quarter of 2025. 

• Weipa: Working with the Maintenance & Industrial Services team, we have mobilised for the construction of a new Waste Water Treatment Plant in Weipa, which began in November and is expected to conclude early 2025. 

As we move forward, the Gladstone team remains focused on maintaining their high standards, with an exciting pipeline of work ahead.
