A keen eye for detail and a willingness to speak up earned Jesse Lockley a Gold Coin Award on the Jansz-Io Compression (JIC) Project.
While carrying out routine project activities, Jesse identified that preservation controls protecting critical equipment were at risk of being removed. Rather than push on, he took the time to stop, verify the requirements and ensure the correct controls remained in place.
The Gold Coin Award is the highest recognition on the JIC Project. This customer-led award celebrates individuals who lead by example and demonstrate outstanding commitment to safety, quality and leadership.
Jesse's proactive intervention helped protect critical project assets and maintain the quality standards required to support future commissioning activities. More importantly, it demonstrated the importance of taking ownership, paying attention to the details and doing things the right way.

It's the kind of action that can easily go unnoticed, but it highlights the important role every person plays in delivering successful project outcomes. By taking a moment to question what he was seeing and verify the requirements, Jesse helped prevent potential rework and ensured critical equipment remained protected.
In the weeks following the event, Jesse received widespread praise from both our client and project colleagues. He was formally presented with the Gold Coin Award in July in recognition of his outstanding attitude, proactive intervention and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
