Welcoming Melchor Contracting to the Monadelphous team

Expanding our multidisciplinary construction services offering, Monadelphous this month announced the acquisition of Melchor Contracting, a Perth-based civils and structural concreting business which will equip us to offer stand-alone civil packages of work to our customers. 

Melchor Contracting, was established in 2017, and offers a full structural concrete package capability, including detailed earthworks, reinforcement fixing, formwork and concrete placement.

Once completed at the end of October, the acquisition will include Melchor Contracting’s customer-base, access to its Osborne Park-based office and warehousing facility and we will welcome more than 300 Melchor Contracting team members to Monadelphous, who have significant experience in structural concrete work. 

“We have worked alongside Melchor and tendered together in the past and, based on our experiences to date, we believe that there’s strong alignment between our businesses – sharing many of the same values, with a strong focus on delivering what we promise,” shared Monadelphous Managing Director, Zoran Bebic.

“Melchor Contracting will be part of the Engineering Construction division as a standalone business unit and will be managed by General Manager, Strategy and Growth, Stuart Crofts. The Melchor Contracting team will remain based out of their Osborne Park office and we will be working closely and bringing our teams together regularly as we go forward.”
