Welcome to the first edition of ‘Ramp Up’ for 2026.
I hope those who took some time off were able to rest, recuperate, and recharge. We had many of you working through the Christmas and New Years period – thank you for your commitment and dedication, working tirelessly to support the increased activity we saw across our contracts during the holidays.
Our business shows no sign of slowing down, with peak activity predicted throughout the year as work ramps up. Increased activity is a good thing - it means we’re delivering to our customers, demonstrating our capabilities and continuing to build our reputation for future opportunities. However, the added pressure can make taking shortcuts tempting, particularly when it comes to safety. Safety is our number one priority, and we want everyone to return home safely each and every day. Please ensure you are taking the time you need to execute your tasks safely and raise any concerns and remember The Safe Way is the Only Way.
We said goodbye to our four 2025 Summer Vacation Students, who worked alongside our teams on a range of projects, building practical skills, gaining real-world exposure and developing a greater understanding of our operations. We hope to see some of them again as graduates.
Across our sites, we have started to roll out a combined Code of Conduct and Acceptable Workplace Behaviour training. This annual training promotes our unapologetically high standards for respectful behaviour, safety, integrity, and speaking up when something is not right. It reinforces doing the right thing, even when no one is watching, and builds trust within our teams, with customers and with community. It’s our daily actions and attitude that shape our culture and drive our success as a company.
Thank you to everyone for starting the year strong – let’s keep this momentum up, stay safe and look out for your mates.
