Hi folks

Welcome to the latest edition of Ramp Up.

We’re heading into a peak operational period, with CRUX and Scarborough mobilising alongside shutdown activities on Prelude. This will be a busy and important phase for our teams, and I thank you in advance for your continued focus and commitment.

In March, we launched our Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) for 2026-2029 on the banks of the Derbal Yerrigan (Swan River), our third Stretch RAP and fifth RAP overall. Our RAP reflects over a decade of learning and genuine partnership, beginning with our first RAP in 2013. The launch event started with a smoking ceremony, led by Aunty Robyn Collard, joined by her grandson Tryse Rioli on the didgeridoo. Mirliny, a family-owned Aboriginal business performed a traditional dance for launch attendees. In support of the launch event in Perth, we will also be holding launch events in Darwin and Karratha in the coming months.

For our teams based in our customer offices we’ll be kicking off our pulse check activities. The intent of this is to hear from our people what we are doing well, where the opportunities for improvement are and for a chance to have your say. We will also be running sessions for the teams based in Victoria Park, Karratha and Darwin – more information will be available in the coming weeks.

I’m also pleased to share a strong safety milestone: one of our sites has reached three months injury‑free and has recorded no recordable injuries for over 12 months. While this is a great achievement worth recognising, maintaining this momentum across all sites and contracts remains critical. Safety must continue to be our number one priority and remember The Safe Way is the Only Way.

Finally, congratulations to Nicole Mills, Louise Waddell and Chyna Mayo, who have been recognised as finalists in the Women in Resources NT Awards. These awards celebrate individuals and organisations who are enhancing diversity and inclusion across the NT resources sector. An outstanding achievement and well-deserved recognition.

Until next time, stay safe and look out for your mates.

John
