Welcome to the first edition of Ramp Up for 2025, and my first edition as GM.
I’m excited to step into this role and to lead such a talented and well-established team. Over the years, Monadelphous has built a strong reputation in the energy sector, and I look forward to building on this foundation together as we continue to deliver outstanding results for our customers.
We have a huge year ahead, as we deliver significant activity on our current contracts, and actively pursue new opportunities. Our focus is ensuring we have the right tools, people and processes in place to deliver safely for our customers, and to maintain our great culture where people enjoy coming to work.
Off the back of our growth in Darwin, we launched our first Darwin Community Grants Program last year, and I’m pleased to share the successful recipients have now been announced. It’s fantastic to see the reach the Monadelphous community grants have, and the creation of a Darwin fund gives our people the opportunity to make an impact in their local community. We also announced the successful recipients of our second Karratha Community Grants Program, continuing to invest in the regions where our people live and work. You can read more about the 2025 Community Grants recipients here.
In this edition, meet Lisa Watson, one of our planners with the Pluto Offshore team. Lisa’s journey has been shaped by her passion for learning, a willingness to take on new challenges, and a few unexpected twists along the way.
Earlier this year, I was lucky enough to be part of the first M&IS podcast episode with our outgoing GM, Doug Macintyre. It was certainly a first for me, and we hope this podcast gives you another way to stay connected and supports collaboration across the division. You can listen to the podcast anytime, anywhere – stay tuned for future episodes.
Finally, I’d like to congratulate Brendan Appleby, who was recently awarded the INPEX Vice President’s Award. This is a well-deserved recognition for Brendan’s contributions as well as the expertise and collaboration of our planning team based in the INPEX office. Congratulations, Brendan!
I’m excited to see what we can achieve together in 2025. Stay safe, and I look forward to catching up with many of you soon.
