We’re well past the halfway mark of the year and we’re in a ‘super peak’ across the business for both headcount and operational activities.      Last month, more than 130 leaders from across the M&IS division gathered for the annual Leadership Conference. It was a fantastic way to connect with the diverse businesses at Monos and take away some valuable lessons learnt that can be applied in our business.  As part of the conference program, we presented the divisional safety awards. I am pleased to share that the overall winner of the Safety Innovation Award was the INPEX CPF Team for Tethered Drone Technology for Tank Inspections, a well-deserved win which was highlighted on the night for both its safety, efficiency and cost benefits. Building on this success, the innovation went on to receive Monadelphous’ Managing Director’s Safety Innovation Award.   I recently had the opportunity to visit our Darwin workshop, and it was fantastic to see the upgrades and improvements that have been made to the facility. The enhancements not only reflect the team’s commitment to improving our operations but also open exciting possibilities for additional scopes of work that the Darwin site could support in the future.  We’re heading into another busy period, following on from major shutdowns - I’d like to take a moment to emphasise that safety remains our top priority, and nothing is more important that everyone returning home safely each day. Recently, we've seen an increase in safety incidents and injuries across Energy, and disappointingly our stats are not where they should be. We need to address this to maintain our high safety standards, so let’s continue to work together to uphold the excellent safety performance we know we’re capable of.   With strong volumes of work continuing across the business—and an ambitious pipeline of works through to Christmas and beyond – it’s more important than ever that we stay focused on delivering what we promise, while maintaining *The Safe Way is the Only Way* ethos.  To support our growth, we’re on the lookout for people to join our team – if you know anyone that would be a good fit, encourage them to apply via [Monadelphous Careers](https://careers.monadelphous.com.au/).
