At Monadelphous, we have been working hard to build a positive legacy for future generations by growing our sustainable practices and playing our part in the communities where our people live and work.
During the last financial year, we donated over $320,000, volunteered over 620 hours and supported over 120 initiatives. These initiatives ranged from charitable endeavours to grassroots community groups, as well as education and early career development.
This included supporting major community events such as the Karratha FeNaCING Festival and Hedland Spinifex Spree, as well as volunteering to clean up and rehabilitate communities and support local sporting teams.
Our key partnerships have been instrumental in our efforts, providing ongoing support and opportunities for both local communities and our people.
The Indigenous Pathways Program has continued to flourish, supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by providing opportunities for sustainable employment and upskilling.
Our long-term partnership with the Polly Farmer Foundation also continued, supporting high school students and alumni to gain exposure to opportunities at Monadelphous and within the broader industry.
Working with Girls in Engineering, another ongoing partnership, allowed us to promote career pathways to high school and university students, focusing on inspiring and encouraging women into a future in STEM.
In the pursuit of our journey towards net zero emissions, we finalised our Emissions and Energy Reduction (EER) Roadmap this year. Our commitment was further underlined with the launch of our concise Net Zero by 2050 one-pager, highlighting crucial focus areas, planned initiatives, and interim milestones toward decarbonisation.
We are committed to sustainability at Monadelphous and offer many opportunities for our people to get involved. If you would like to know more or put forward an initiative to support, reach out to sponsorships@monadel.com.au.
