The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.   This years’ theme was #EmbracingEquity and some of our teams got together to discuss this topic.   Equity recognises that each person has different circumstances and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome. The graphic below is a great way to understand the concept of equity. ![](https://intheloop.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/image.png) Check out some of our International Women’s Day celebrations below:  ![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/International-Womens-Day-MIS-OG-Morning-Tea-1024x768.jpg?width=250&height=188&name=International-Womens-Day-MIS-OG-Morning-Tea-1024x768.jpg) ![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/iPipe-1024x768.jpg?width=260&height=195&name=iPipe-1024x768.jpg) ![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/20230308_120853-1024x1024.jpg?width=250&height=250&name=20230308_120853-1024x1024.jpg)![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/NSW-1024x768.jpg?width=250&height=188&name=NSW-1024x768.jpg) ![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/20230308_113045-1024x768.jpg?width=250&height=188&name=20230308_113045-1024x768.jpg) ![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/OG-NE-1024x768.jpg?width=250&height=188&name=OG-NE-1024x768.jpg)![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/NSW-Mt-Arther-1024x768.jpg?width=250&height=188&name=NSW-Mt-Arther-1024x768.jpg) ![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/20230308_1109460-1024x549.jpg?width=250&height=134&name=20230308_1109460-1024x549.jpg) ### **Harmony Week** We also celebrated Harmony Week across the Maintenance and Industrial Services division, from the 20th to 26th of March.    Harmony Week is an annual celebration of Australia’s cultural diversity, promoting inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone, regardless of their background.  This year’s theme was ‘Everyone Belongs’ and some of our teams got together to share food from different countries or celebrate over barbeques on-site.  If you’d like to read more about Harmony Week [click here.](https://www.harmony.gov.au/)   Check out some of our celebrations below:  ![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/20230321_123922-1024x460.jpg?width=250&height=112&name=20230321_123922-1024x460.jpg) ![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/IMG_1980-1024x768.jpg?width=250&height=188&name=IMG_1980-1024x768.jpg)![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/IMG_7693-1024x768.jpg?width=250&height=188&name=IMG_7693-1024x768.jpg) ![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/20230321_123933-1024x460.jpg?width=250&height=112&name=20230321_123933-1024x460.jpg)![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/20230326_100205-1024x768.jpg?width=250&height=188&name=20230326_100205-1024x768.jpg) ![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Image-7-1024x768.jpeg?width=250&height=188&name=Image-7-1024x768.jpeg)![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/IMG_7687-1024x768.jpg?width=250&height=188&name=IMG_7687-1024x768.jpg) ![](https://rampup.monadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Image-15-1024x768.jpg?width=250&height=188&name=Image-15-1024x768.jpg) ## Leave a comment Previous Post 111,000 reasons to celebrate at Gove Next Post A message from Doug Macintyre, Mar '23 ## Recommended For You [![](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/hubfs/Senior%20leader%20headshots/Doug%20Macintyre%20-%20Thumbnail.png)](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/ramp-up/a-message-from-doug-macintyre-24-march) [Leadership Updates](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/ramp-up/tag/leadership-updates) 1 Min Read ### [A message from Doug Macintyre](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/ramp-up/a-message-from-doug-macintyre-24-march) Hello and welcome to latest edition of Ramp Up, with the latest news and updates from across the Energy ...
