Monos secures extension to long-term INPEX contract

Written by Communications | 30 Apr 2023

Earlier this week, we announced we had secured both of the available two-year extensions to our long-term offshore maintenance services contract with INPEX Operations Australia P/L (INPEX), supporting the Ichthys LNG Project, and valued at approximately $350 million.

Our original maintenance contract with INPEX, which we secured in 2017, was for six years with a further two two-year extension options. Based on our performance over the initial six-year period, we have now been awarded both two-year extension options.

Our scope of work includes operational, campaign and shutdown maintenance services and brownfield projects implementation associated with the Ichthys Explorer central processing facility (CPF) and the Ichthys Venturer floating production storage and offloading facility (FPSO), located in the Browse Basin.

Today’s announcement is a testament to our team’s commitment to delivering high-quality services and our strong performance over the last six years. It is something we are extremely thrilled about and we look forward to continuing to support the Ichthys LNG Project in the years to come.

On another note, we’re always on the lookout for new team members to join our growing team. If someone you know is interested in joining our team, you can find out more here.
