In the lead up to Christmas, our Perth office hosted a collection drive for Starick foundation to help make Christmas a little brighter for women and children in need.
We’re proud to say we collected two carloads full of food, gifts, hampers and vouchers to give to families in what can be a difficult time of year.
Starick Fundraising Manager Jo Malone, on behalf of the team at Starick, expressed her gratitude and said 2022 marked an especially difficult Christmas period due to the rise in the cost of living and the ongoing effects of the pandemic in outreach communities.
“The donation by Monadelphous of carloads of food and toys was very welcomed this year and provided families in our refuges and outreach services the ability to celebrate Christmas.”
“The donations enabled families in our refuges the ability to gift presents and share food over the festive season,” she said.
“We want to thank all those involved from Monadelphous for helping make Christmas so special for our families in need.” she said.
We have recently been supporting Starick in a number of ways to help them achieve their vision of building futures free from violence, for the women and children who use their service and the wider community.
A big thank you to all those who contributed, every donation went a long way and was appreciated.
