Ramp Up

To putt a long story short

Earlier this year, our Darwin-based team gathered at the Palmerston Golf and Country Club for a family fun day out, bringing employees and their families together in a relaxed, social setting.

The day teed off with a round of mini golf, where teams took on 18 holes of twists, turns and questionable putting technique. There were plenty of competitive streaks on display, a few ‘Happy Gilmore’ moments, trick shots, and lots of laughs.

Off the green, the vibe was just as lively. Kids were kept busy with face painting and balloon art (with some very creative requests in the mix), while parents had the chance to relax, catch up and enjoy the day together.

After working up an appetite on the course, everyone gathered for a shared meal, swapping stories, comparing scores—honestly or otherwise—and enjoying some relaxed downtime together outside of work.

The fun didn’t stop there, with raffle prizes keeping the excitement going and plenty of cheers as winners were drawn.

More than just a day out, it was a chance to connect, recharge, and strengthen the Darwin team’s camaraderie. With plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and opportunities to connect outside the workplace - Days like this help build a stronger, more connected team back on site.

Special thanks to everyone who helped organise the day and thank you to everyone who came along to make it such a wonderful day!
