In September a small group from Monos had the opportunity to attend the Women in Resources (WIR) Lunch & Learn session in Darwin.
Among the attendees were Mia Brahim, Louise Waddell, Veena Thankachan, and Nicole Mills, who all enjoyed a day of personal growth and leadership development.
The session kicked off with Michelle Taylor diving into emotional intelligence, encouraging everyone to reflect on their own thoughts and behaviours.
Her message was clear: knowing yourself is the first step to becoming a great leader!
We were also lucky to hear from Anahita Tonkin, who shared her incredible experiences working with the Yalu Indigenous Corporation and her journey with Indigenous leaders—truly inspiring!
A special shout-out to Louise, who was handpicked from a group of 25 participants for an exclusive 1:1 session with Michelle Taylor. What an exciting opportunity for Louise as she takes on more leadership responsibilities here onsite!
It was a day filled with learning, connection, and plenty of inspiration to take forward.
