Hi Everyone.

Welcome to the latest edition of The Fix.

April was a busy month for us, with operations across all areas in full swing - Brockman ANFO earthworks and concrete, shuts at Roy Hill, Drum Plant Launders and GTUs at Tom Price, commissioning at Solomon Pilot Plant, building facilities at Iron Bridge, rolling shutdowns at Cape Lambert, maintenance and structural integrity in Port Hedland just to name a few.

In this issue, we check in with the team on the Fixed Plant Structural Integrity Remediation Pilot Program II. Awarded earlier this year, the program of works will run until early 2029, focussed on strengthening the structural integrity of key facilities at three major inland sites: Paraburdoo, Marando and Western Turner Syncline.

Over to our Port and East Pilbara operations, the team have acquired two Ford F-150 electrical vehicles for their fleet. This initiative aligns with Monadelphous’ overall efforts to promote sustainability and support greener initiatives across the business.

The second installment of the M&IS Podcast is now available – the theme for this episode is East v West, and if you want to find who had the winning name for the podcast, tune in to the latest episode.

At the end of April, we announced our acquisition of High Energy Service (HES), who will become part of the MMNW business unit. In the coming months, we’ll be arranging meet and greet sessions to welcome the HES team and introduce them to their Monadelphous colleagues. A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed to the acquisition process and to those now supporting the transition. Please join me in warmly welcoming HES to the Monadelphous family.

Finally, I’d like to congratulate Jo Jaskola, who celebrated her 15-year Monoversary in December last year. Jo has been with us since 2009, starting in our Applecross offices as Shared Administration Assistant for M&IS. Congratulations, Jo, on an incredible milestone – we thank you for your commitment and loyalty.

Until the next edition, stay safe and look after your mates.

Nick
