A pipeline of new work

There has been a lot of activity in the north west over the last couple of months, from tendering, scoping and planning, right through to executing a huge number of projects right across our business.

Some of our new contracts are included below, in addition to the ones mentioned here

  • An upgrade to the wet plant dilution water system at the Nammuldi mine
  • The supply, installation and commissioning of a potable water distribution system at the Hope Downs 1 mine
  • Upgrades to the conveyor gravity take up system at the Brockman 2 mine
  • A contract for the remediation of balance machines at the Finucane Island and Nelson Point ports
  • A contract to supply and install bridge bearing replacements on a customers rail network

In addition to the above contracts, we have been reappointed to the BHP WAIO Site Engineering Panel for a three-year period to continue providing multi-disciplinary services at BHP’s mine site and port operations across the Pilbara.

We have also received a 12-month extension to our existing contract to provide general maintenance and shutdown services at BHP’s Western Australian iron ore operations.

General Manager Mining and Minerals North West Region, Nick Raffan, said these announcements highlight the exceptional work our people do on a day-to-day basis.

“These contract wins demonstrate how we have maintained and grown our relationships with our existing and new customers. They also allow us to further grow our multidisciplinary capabilities at a branch level, which is really exciting for our people,” he said.
