The Port Hedland community recently came together in a big way for Bounce Back 2025, a free wellbeing day celebrating connection, resilience, and community spirit.
Monadelphous proudly sponsored and supported the event, which was presented by Nih Kaartdijin Mia and the Town of Port Hedland as part of WA Mental Health Week. Monos’ were also a financial sponsor on the day, alongside the volunteer support provided by our team.
The event focused on empowering communities and thriving workforces through connection, wellbeing, and inclusive community activities.
A strong team of 19 Monadelphous employees volunteered their time to help make the day a success. Partnering with the Hedland Reds, our team helped deliver the footy activation, running drills, and joining in a scratch match with local kids, a highlight of the day that brought smiles all around.
Held in conjunction with WA Mental Health Week, Bounce Back aimed to promote mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and community connection across Hedland.
Locals enjoyed free health checks, raffles, games, and of course, a classic BBQ. It was a day filled with good vibes, laughter, and simple reminders of how important it is to look after yourself and each other.
“Bounce Back is about bringing our community together in a meaningful way,” Director of Community Services at the Town of Port Hedland, Alison Banks, said.
“It’s a chance to connect, support one another, and highlight the incredible services available to help people thrive mentally, physically, and socially.”
For Monadelphous, it was a rewarding opportunity to spend time with the community, lend a hand, and support an event that celebrates teamwork, wellbeing, and connection across Hedland.
