Each year we support a range of social value activities across our key regional and metropolitan areas, giving back to the local communities in which we live and work.
In the last financial year, we successfully implemented over 100 initiatives across 25 locations, including 30 sporting sponsorships, Keep Australia Beautiful Day clean-ups in five locations, Containers for Change recycling programs, event volunteering, education partnerships and a foreshore rehabilitation program.
The Hedland Reds Junior Football Association in Port Hedland is a recent recipient of Monadelphous sponsorship.
Club President and Superintendent Craig Turner said that the support makes a real difference, allowing the Association to operate to its full potential.
“Without the financial help from Monadelphous, we wouldn’t be able to provide these children in our community the opportunity to play AFL in the district,” he said.
“The funds allow us to buy essential training equipment, football jumpers, team wear and to cover the teams travel expenses to Karratha, Dampier and Wickham every second week during the home and away season.
“We have over 380 male and female junior players plus 60 women registered at the Hedland Football Club and all of our players benefit from Monadelphous’ support.”
