Our recent Northern Star winners!

Recently, we presented Northern Star Awards to deserving recipients in Michael “Triffo” Triffett from the Coastal & West Pilbara team and Tom McIntyre from the Port & East Pilbara team, recognising the outstanding contributions they make to our people and projects.

The Northern Star program invites nominations to recognise teammates who consistently go above and beyond in their roles.

Recognised in April, Triffo consistently demonstrates the Monos Core Values and is a highly valued and respected team member, with the ability to build strong relationships across MMNW, and in his role at Cape Lambert.

This is shown in all aspects of his work, Triffo is highly solutions focussed, patient and respectful towards everyone he interacts with.

Triffo’s ‘one team’ attitude and commitment to supporting those around him continue to make a positive impact across MMNW.

Commended in July, Tom exemplifies strong leadership, technical expertise and a genuine commitment to the safety and wellbeing of his teammates.

He leads by example and plays an important role in supporting teams to successfully deliver projects, particularly during a recent shutdown.

Tom’s extensive knowledge of mechanical and piping works, combined with his ability to motivate those around him, makes him a highly respected member of the team.

Congratulations to Triffo and Tom on these well-deserved awards and thank you both for your continued dedication to our people and business.

Nominees for the Northern Star Achievement Award are measured against the following attributes:

• Go beyond the expected norms, seek to exceed set targets and goals (Performance)

• Display determination and tenacity when encountering obstacles and persist in overcoming them. They never give up. (Reputation)

Each nomination is considered for the monthly award, as well as the annual Northern Star Achievement Award, chosen at the end of the year.
