Hi everyone, we are pleased to share the latest updates on what’s happening at Monadelphous, offering insights into potential future opportunities.

News
We won an Albemarle contract on the Kemerton Lithium Plant near Bunbury in southwest Western Australia, due for completion in late 2025. The contract includes structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works associated with two new lithium processing trains (trains 3 and 4).

Another project we secured is the Talison Lithium Greenbushes - Chemical Grade Plant 3 contract. This includes the installation of a new crushing and screening facility, a lithium concentrate processing plant, tank and piping fabrication works and electrical supply, with completion expected in the first half of 2025.

We also have the Liontown Kathleen Valley lithium project in WA's Northern Goldfields. This project is now underway and is expected to be complete in mid-2024. Inteforge also secured a significant steel fabrication scope, which is now complete.

We are contributing to the Lynas Mt. Weld expansion project for Lynas Rare Earths near Laverton, in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. This includes structural, mechanical, and piping works for the new concentration facility.

In continuing work with Fortescue, we are working on the supply and construction of an overland conveyor and transfer station at the Christmas Creek mine site, as well as upgrades at Fortescue's Anderson Point iron ore stockyard.

Under our newly secured contract with Bechtel, we will deliver heavy haul and heavy lift services at Woodside’s Pluto Train 2 Project in Karratha, WA.

Pluto Train 2 includes the expansion of the existing Pluto LNG facility, enabling gas to be processed from the Scarborough gas fields through a second processing train, as well as plant modifications and additional domestic gas infrastructure.

Monadelphous was recently reappointed to BHP’s Western Australian Iron Ore Asset Projects Framework Agreement for a further three years and we were awarded a major contract for the Car Dumper 3 Renewal Project at Nelson Point in Port Hedland.

BHP also extended our master services agreement for the provision of general maintenance services to its iron ore operations in the Pilbara region of Western Australia through to mid-June 2024. The award also contains an additional one-year extension option. We have also secured a one-year extension to our mechanical and electrical maintenance, shutdown and project services contract across BHP’s Nickel West operations in Western Australia.

Finally, we have secured a one-year extension to our sustaining capital works master services agreement Rio Tinto providing multidisciplinary project services across its Pilbara iron ore operations in Western Australia.
