Affectionately known by Nino in his team, Antonino began his career at Monadelphous three years ago in the graduate program as a Graduate Project Engineer and is now a Project Engineer in Heavy Lift.
A keen musician in his down time whilst also juggling family time with his wife and young son, Nino plays the guitar, keyboard and trumpet and makes his own looping tracks with his guitar and keyboard.
One to always keep busy, Nino enjoys getting outdoors and going on adventures with his family, whether that be riding their bikes, walking or simply catching up with friends. When he gets the chance Nino is eager to take his family to Italy and explore the sites.
Nino recently joined the heavy lift team on a more permanent basis after previously being seconded to the team. He’s excited to be part of the team and challenge himself to think creatively and come up with lift and shift solutions.
“It’s great to be part of the team and I’ve enjoyed being able to work in various parts of the business.
“I’ve had the opportunity to meet and work with a lot of different people throughout the business who have experience in different areas, and I think that’s been really valuable for my own personal growth,” said Nino.
“Currently my role involves creating lift studies and making transport studies for Self-Propelled Modular Trailers (SPMT) where we check the stability and lashing of the transport configuration,” said Nino.
“It’s been a great challenge and I think it’s a unique part of the business that I get to be involved in within heavy lift.
“Being able to think outside the box and overcome challenges that come with transporting and lifting things with different characteristics is something that I find interesting and enjoy the most about my role,” said Nino.
