Financial year 22 has been one of our best annual HSE performances to date which is really pleasing to see. This shows that everyone’s commitment to safety and our ongoing focus on improving our HSE performance is really paying off.
An honourable mention to the team at KMK who reached their ninth year recordable free – an outstanding achievement.
We have spent the last few months celebrating Monadelphous’ 50-year anniversary in some of our key operating regions including Roxby Downs, our South-West sites and the Goldfields. It was great to catch up with many of you in person to mark the occasion.
We can also celebrate what was an excellent year in terms of securing our pipeline of work. This includes successfully re-negotiating and renewing every single one of our existing contracts, as well as being awarded more contracts over and above our existing portfolio.
There were too many highlights to run through, but one I would like to mention is the team at the Kambalda Nickel Concentrator who worked more than 103,00 hours on the rebuild of the Concentrator. They did this over 17 months and were able to deliver safely and without incident for our customer.
Another special mention is to RTW… One year on from our acquisition of the business, RTW has had its busiest ever year with sales for FY22, and the year ahead is already looking even busier!
I am already looking forward to an exciting 2023, as we continue to broaden our customer base and grow within the renewable energy and future metals markets.
In the meantime, a reminder to please take extra care over the holiday season. Whether you are at social events, out on the roads, or working through the holiday period, please stay safe and look out for one another.
