The Pipeline

A message from Paul Francis

Welcome to the next edition of The Pipeline, bringing you a few of the recent highlights from our teams across the Mining and Minerals Southern Region.

March was a big month for celebrating diversity and inclusion. We kicked it off with International Women's Day where we saw celebrations and conversations throughout Monos.  We also celebrated Harmony Week with our teams getting involved by hosting pre-start barbeques and morning teas, while contributing to our employee heritage map.

It's important to remember that these were not just calendar events, but powerful reminders of our collective responsibility towards fostering an inclusive culture. Thank you to everyone for getting behind these initiatives.

In March, Monadelphous also achieved great recognition for its Crane Operations Pathway Traineeship Program, being honoured with the Outstanding Company Initiative Award by the Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA's Women in Resources Awards 2024. This is an amazing achievement from Monadelphous and the Heavy Lift team which we can all feel very proud of.

Celebrating milestones is part of our tradition, and we recently marked a significant one – James Trott's 25th anniversary with Monadelphous. Known affectionately by his teammates as Trotty, his quarter-century of service is an inspiring story of commitment and growth within our company. (Insert link)

Also in this edition of The Pipeline, read how the team in the Goldfields have been upgrading the oxygen plant at the nickel smelter, check out the latest Monos Moment winners and get the latest instalment from the Resilience Project’s wellbeing series.

I encourage you, if you have not already, to connect with us through social media as we share our stories and celebrate our collective achievements across Monadelphous. You can follow us on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.

As always, stay safe and look out for one another.

Paul
