Welcome to the first edition of The Pipeline for 2024. I hope you enjoyed an opportunity to relax over the festive season and, to those who worked over the period, a huge thank you for your dedication.

In a fantastic start to the year, I visited Albemarle lithium facilities in Kemerton with Executive General Manager Alastair Reid and presented our team there with the first M&IS Teamwork Baton award for the year. This is a well-deserved honour for the team who have worked hard over the first 12 months on-site there, providing valuable support to our customer and embedding a culture of safety excellence. Well done to everyone involved – you can read the full article in this newsletter. I am looking forward to seeing the baton making its way to some of our other sites in the Mining and Minerals Southern Region throughout the year.

Another great team effort recently was supporting customer Worsley Alumina in an important project for reducing its carbon footprint, converting its first coal-fired boiler to natural gas. Our team played a pivotal role as the primary structural, mechanical, and piping (SMP) contractor, which you can read more about in this edition of The Pipeline.

As you know, we launched our peer-nominated recognition program Monos Moment last year, as a way of giving our teammates the credit they deserve.  It was great to see so many of you putting others forward who you have seen go above and beyond, displaying the Monadelphous values. Note that the link to the nomination form was temporarily down but this is now back online here If you attempted to nominate someone in December, I encourage you to take a moment to resubmit.

Finally it is, as always, our priority across Monadelphous to make sure everyone goes home safe and well. To support this and help to reduce the incidence of hand and finger injuries, the Company is implementing a hands off rigging approach. You can find out more about this inside this newsletter.

Enjoy reading and remember to stay safe and look out for one another.
