This strategic move for our customer from LPG to natural gas ensures a reliable energy supply, while providing operational savings. Project Engineer Ronak Das and his team, including Luke Provost, Murray Thomas, Jubinel Sucuaja, Andy McBride, and Teri Coleman, played pivotal roles in this success – well done to all involved.   The Worsley Alumina team has also been busy, supporting the conversion of a coal-fired boiler to natural gas. By developing a custom coal nozzle lifting jig, they successfully reduced hand and finger risks, ensuring safer removal and replacement of nozzles. This innovative approach has earned them a nomination for this year’s Monadelphous Managing Director's Safety Innovation Award.   In our local communities, we proudly supported a range of football clubs to gear up for the current footy season. Our sponsorships provide vital funding and equipment for clubs such as Boddington Football Club, Boulder City Football Club and Harvey Brunswick Leschenault Junior Football Club. This is part of our commitment across Monadelphous to give back to our communities via grassroots organisations and sports clubs. We look forward to seeing these clubs grow from strength to strength.   In this edition of The Pipeline, you can get to know Senior Administration Officer Teresa Fariss, who shares more about her role at Monadelphous, her career highlights so far, and her dedication to running a local basketball club in Kalgoorlie. Discover what motivates her and how she balances her work with her passion for sports and community engagement.   Join us in celebrating our recent Monos Moments winners, who we have awarded for embodying our values and culture. From prioritising safety to demonstrating exceptional teamwork and community spirit, it is great to hear so many stories about how our teammates are making a positive contribution, both in the workplace and beyond.     Finally, we are keen to highlight and share the many environmental initiatives happening across Monadelphous’ sites. Whether you're leading a local effort or part of a larger sustainability push, please send your stories and projects with us at [enviro@monadel.com.au](mailto:enviro@monadel.com.au). Every action, big or small, brings us closer to our Net Zero goals and should be celebrated.  As always, stay safe and look out for one another.  Paul    ![Paul Francis - Sign off](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/Senior%20leader%20headshots/Paul%20Francis%20-%20Sign%20off.png?width=570&height=285&name=Paul%20Francis%20-%20Sign%20off.png)   ## Leave a comment Previous Post Gas line crucial shift to more reliable energy Next Post Celebrating NAIDOC Week in 2024 ## Recommended For You [![](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/hubfs/Senior%20leader%20headshots/Paul%20Francis%20-%20Thumbnail.png)](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/the-pipeline/a-message-from-paul-francis-24-march) [Leadership Updates](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/the-pipeline/tag/leadership-updates) 2 Min Read ### [A message from Paul Francis](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/the-pipeline/a-message-from-paul-francis-24-march) Welcome to the latest edition of The Pipeline.
