A message from Paul Francis

Welcome to the latest edition of The Pipeline!

We’re well into 2025, and I want to thank everyone for their ongoing commitment to delivering for our customers. Whether you’re out on site or supporting from the office, your efforts don’t go unnoticed.

I’d like to highlight some great work by our RTW team, who have been leading a major conveyor belt replacement in Boddington—the first in over a decade. This 10.5 km belt plays a critical role in operations, and the team has been hard at work since November preparing for its replacement. With a major outage scheduled for April, there’s still a big push ahead, but the planning and execution so far have been outstanding.

On the topic of achievements, a special shoutout to Michelle, one of our commercial managers, who has been representing Australia in curling! It’s not every day you hear about an elite curler in our ranks—an incredible effort.

I’d also like to congratulate our M&IS Executive General Manager, Al, who recently marked 10 years with Monadelphous. From starting out as a graduate engineer to now leading some of our biggest projects, Al’s career shows what’s possible when you work hard and grab opportunities along the way.

Al also hosted our new Monos podcast! The first episode features our outgoing and incoming Energy leaders sharing insights into their careers, lessons learned, and advice for those looking to grow in their roles. It’s a great way to hear directly from the people shaping our business, so be sure to check it out.

In February, we wrapped up another successful Vacation Program, with students gaining valuable hands-on experience across our business. A big thank you to everyone who took the time to mentor and support them. If you know someone looking to kickstart their career, applications are now open for our Graduate and Vacation Programs in Engineering, Construction Management, and Accounting.

Community engagement remains a priority for us, and I’m proud to share that we recently supported the Southern Scorpions through our Community Grants Program. The team delivered their best-ever performance at this year’s Country Week, winning three out of four T20 games and just missing out on the grand final. A fantastic effort from the Scorps! They’re also one of our Bunbury Community Grant Program winners, and it’s great to see that initiative making an impact.

As always, let’s keep safety at the forefront, look out for one another, and continue the great work we’re known for.

Cheers,
Paul
