A message from Paul Francis

Hi everyone,

This past month, we’ve spent a lot of time focusing on inclusion across the business, and what it really means to create a workplace where people feel they belong.

A big part of that was International Women’s Day. This year’s theme, Balance the Scales, is a good reminder that creating equal opportunities doesn’t happen by chance; it takes ongoing effort. It was great to see so many of our people get involved, whether through the panel discussion, industry events, or simply taking the time to connect with teammates.

We also launched our new Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan for 2026–2029, which is an important step forward for Monadelphous. This is our third Stretch RAP, and it builds on more than a decade of work in this space. The focus now is on embedding reconciliation more consistently into how we operate, strengthening capability, creating opportunities and continuing to build meaningful partnerships. There’s more to do, and progress will come from all of us taking ownership of it in our day-to-day work.

During Harmony Week, some of our Perth team came together for a shared meal and to celebrate the different cultures across our workforce. It was a simple initiative, but a good reminder that inclusion often starts with small, everyday actions.

On the projects side, the team at Roxby Downs is nearing completion of an acid plant cooling system, which is a significant piece of work and a strong outcome for our customer. Well done to everyone involved.

And finally, we have had a number of high-profile shutdowns across our many sites and regions this month and with really strong performance shown across them. This continues to deliver high-quality outcomes to our many customers and hopefully unlocks future project opportunities based on our ability to ‘rise to the challenge and deliver the right way’.

Thanks to everyone for the role you’ve played this month, whether that’s getting involved in these initiatives, supporting your teammates or delivering for our customers.

Cheers,

Paul.
