Welcome to the June edition of The Pipeline.
As we move into a new financial year it is great to see a solid amount of work projected for the months ahead that is sure to keep us all busy. Our focus continues to be on delivering safely for our core customers, as well as the provision of additional services to these customers and expanding our customer base.
Our Roxby Downs project team, with support from Perth operations, were awarded their first major contract in Whyalla for a 35-day cold shut. We have had operations in South Australia for over 30 years including executing small works in the town in recent years. The shutdown work will involve a team of around 50 people across mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines – I look forward to sharing an update as the project progresses.
I had the honour of visiting Kalgoorlie last week for a special dinner to celebrate Rob Grubb’s 30th anniversary with Monadelphous. Three decades of service is an incredible milestone to reach and it was fantastic to bring some of the team together to mark the occasion. As we reflect on 50 years of Monadelphous, we are celebrating our people like Rob who have been instrumental in achieving long-term success.
You can read more about this in this edition of The Pipeline, as well as our work in Whyalla and where the Monadelphous name originated from.
Until next time, stay safe.
Paul.
