Through our strong relationship with the customer, which was initially BHP and now South32, we established our position as the contractor of choice. In 2007, we were awarded the contract as the sole provider of minor capital projects under a cooperative style contract. Since this time, we have continued to demonstrate our commitment to delivering what we promise, to the extent that, even in a market downturn, Monadelphous continued to remain on-site.   The team has maintained a strong focus on safety performance and achieved several milestones and accolades, including:  - 1380 Days Recordable Injury Free (July 2009 – May 2013)  - M&IS Most Innovative and Best Innovation 2010  - M&IS Best Innovation 2011  - M&IS Best Overall Safety Performance 2012  - M&IS Most Improved Safety Performance 2024  - 540 Recordable Injury Free Days (June 2023 – Current)  Last week, we marked 20 years on-site at Worsley, another remarkable achievement.   None of these achievements would have been possible without the ongoing efforts and dedication of our south-west team. I'd like to acknowledge Area Manager, Mark Holdman, who has been with the Worsley Alumina team for the whole 20 years in various roles. Under Mark’s leadership, the team have thrived in what has been, at times, a challenging environment, going from strength to strength and continuing to win new work with a long-standing customer.  In the last 12 months, we secured an extension to our maintenance contract with South32, and were also awarded a new, three-year contract for the provision of minor project works at Worsley.   It gives me a great sense of pride to see us embodying the Monadelphous values of safety and wellbeing, integrity, achievement, teamwork and loyalty over such a significant period of time.  Congratulations to the entire Worsley Alumina team, and here’s to 20 more years!  ![The Pipeline December 247](https://22708561.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/22708561/hubfs/The%20Pipeline%20December%20247.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=The%20Pipeline%20December%20247.jpg) ![The Pipeline December 246](https://22708561.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/22708561/hubfs/The%20Pipeline%20December%20246.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=The%20Pipeline%20December%20246.jpg) ![The Pipeline December 248](https://22708561.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/22708561/hubfs/The%20Pipeline%20December%20248.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=The%20Pipeline%20December%20248.jpg) ![The Pipeline December 2410](https://22708561.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/22708561/hubfs/The%20Pipeline%20December%202410.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=The%20Pipeline%20December%202410.jpg) ![The Pipeline December 249](https://22708561.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/22708561/hubfs/The%20Pipeline%20December%20249.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=The%20Pipeline%20December%20249.jpg) ![The Pipeline December 2411](https://22708561.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/22708561/hubfs/The%20Pipeline%20December%202411.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=The%20Pipeline%20December%202411.jpg) ![The Pipeline December 2412](https://22708561.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/22708561/hubfs/The%20Pipeline%20December%202412.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=The%20Pipeline%20December%202412.jpg) ![The Pipeline December 2415](https://22708561.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/22708561/hubfs/The%20Pipeline%20December%202415.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=The%20Pipeline%20December%202415.jpg) ![The Pipeline December 2414](https://22708561.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/22708561/hubfs/The%20Pipeline%20December%202414.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=The%20Pipeline%20December%202414.jpg) ![The Pipeline December 2413](https://22708561.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/22708561/hubfs/The%20Pipeline%20December%202413.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=The%20Pipeline%20December%202413.jpg) ![The Pipeline December 2416](https://22708561.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/22708561/hubfs/The%20Pipeline%20December%202416.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=The%20Pipeline%20December%202416.jpg)   ## Leave a comment Previous Post Hoops and high-fives Next Post A Christmas message from Paul Francis ## Recommended For You [![](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/hubfs/Monos%20Moment.jpg)](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/the-pipeline/our-march-2026-monos-moments-winners) [People](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/the-pipeline/tag/people) 2 Min Read ### [Our March 2026 Monos Moments winners!](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/the-pipeline/our-march-2026-monos-moments-winners) Each month, Monos Moments recognises the people who go above and beyond, step up, support their teams, and ...
