It’s been another action-packed month across MMS, with plenty of stand-out nominations showcasing the core values we live and work by.
Taking out the top spot for April is the BBM OLC Belt Change Out team! This awesome crew including: Nick Jokich, Clinton Garnie, Marcus Lovegrove, Eden Charles, Byron Fenn, Anastasia Burles, Craig Cahill, Bruce Forster, Rhys Wilson, Jaco Vanniekerk, Yohawn Ahn, Leanne Rice, Teah Kryspin, and Tania Thomson, delivered an excellent outcome on the RTW project. This was the largest project ever undertaken by the RTW team (in dollar terms) and played a super critical role for our customer. Even better, they wrapped it up 18 hours ahead of schedule, which is just fantastic!
Let’s also give a big shout-out to our other April nominees, each of whom will receive a $50 gift card for their efforts:
Rosalind Seclier – Rosalind has been a great addition since joining Monadelphous last year. She’s taken the time to learn our ITAM processes and works closely with the IT team. By auditing MMS hardware, licenses, and sim services, she’s helped save thousands by returning unnecessary devices and identifying inactive sim lines. Her great work demonstrates that our ITAM processes are working, and Rosalind has played a key role in that success. Her work truly reflects our company values, particularly Integrity, as she has taken responsibility in identifying areas for improvement. Her ability to proactively identify cost-saving measures also speaks to her commitment to Achievement.
Saeed Hamed – During an on-site inspection at Olympic Dam, Saeed noticed a safety concern when another contractor's hot works were being carried out near a ventilation system in an occupied confined space without the proper controls. He quickly raised the issue with the contractor to ensure the correct equipment and procedures were in place. His proactive approach shows his growing expertise in Health and Safety.
Sean Hunt – Sean is a valuable member of any work crew down at Worsley, driving the team’s energy with his positive attitude. He makes sure every task is done safely and efficiently, and his excitement to learn every part of the job inspires those around him.
John Douglas – Nominated by his fellow Worsley Crew team members, John’s consistent drive and commitment make him a true standout when it comes to Achievement.
Luke Green – Luke jumped in when called on at short notice, lending a hand with critical crane lifts and supporting the mechanical team. His readiness to help out shows his strong commitment to Safety and excellent service.
Jack Bennett – Jack showed impressive problem-solving skills on the feedwater heater project. His forward-thinking approach not only kept the team at Worsley safe but also ensured the job moved forward smoothly and on time.
Kya McBreen – A real asset during a challenging shutdown, Kya has made sure her teammates fully understand their work packs. Her dedication to developing clear job hazard analysis has helped set the stage for a safe and successful start to every task.
Ben Pringle – Ben has been a wonderful mentor, guiding our work experience participant, Lily in the Southwest. His supportive attitude and dedication to safe, efficient practices set a strong example that reflects the true spirit of Safety, Teamwork and Loyalty.
Michael Newstead – Nominated by clients and fellow contractors alike, Michael consistently shows his commitment by arriving early to bump test monitors and taking the initiative to support the team. His Integrity and drive make him a trusted and highly valued member of our crew down at Worsley.
Thanks to everyone who submitted nominations, and congratulations again to all our amazing nominees. Let’s keep those Monos’ Moments coming!
