Each month, Monos Moments recognises the people who go above and beyond, support their teams, and deliver work the right way.
Our May winner is Natasha Burn for her overall contribution to Monos Moments, as a champion of the program and as someone who continues to receive countless nominations.
Tash always radiates respect for the people she works with and is consistently a great example for those around her. Tash often steps in to assist and provide care for one of our team members in a time of need. She showed genuine care, compassion and respect, putting safety and wellbeing of the individual first.
Thank you for your ongoing efforts, Tash, and congratulations!
We also had several worthy standouts across our sites:
Bruce Tyler – After reviewing project methodology at Abra Mine, Bruce proposed an alternative approach that was adopted as a safer and more efficient solution. His input led to a successful restructuring of the project, highlighting the value of experience, open feedback, and confident communication.
Hannah Dooling – To ensure a deadline was met in Bunbury, Hannah took initiative to identify what needed to be actioned and completed the work accurately and efficiently.
The team at the KMK Cogeneration Facility recently completed a four-day outage with zero incidents, within budget and ahead of time. Operating strongly as a team, they consistently deliver excellent results for our customers.
A big well done to Marke O’Keefe, Phil Warren, Scott Buchanan, Dave Albinson, Anthony Penny, Mark Crozier, Andrew Bowering, Jim McDermott, Alan Dore, and Brian Bacon!
Ryan Wilson – A dust suppression control panel at Muja Power Station was fully decommissioned after all associated cables were carefully identified, isolated, and documented. Ryan carried out much of this work safely, and tidied the area by eliminating old, redundant equipment.
Stuart Irrgang – With limited documented guidance available, Stuart led the effort to capture and document the process of replacing bearings on an RB impeller in detail and created a guide that supports future work in Olympic Dam!
Tayla-Brooke Branchi – Tayla arranged and carried out an external audit for RTW/Monadelphous, to acquire their two trucks and trailer to be permitted to carry oversized loads.
Well done to everyone involved, and let's keep congratulating these efforts!
