Proud partnership with SBFC Past Players & Officials Association

As Monadelphous enters its second year as a major sponsor for the South Bunbury Football Club Past Players and Officials Association, we're thrilled to see the continued positive impact of our partnership on the club and its members.

This collaboration has not only helped support the club's initiatives but has also strengthened our ties with the local community and contributed to fostering young talent.

In the 2024 season, Monadelphous funded two key scholarships, recognising outstanding youth in the club.

The Monadelphous Constantine Scholarship was awarded to Alyssa Bain from the Girls Juniors, while the Monadelphous Depiazzi Scholarship went to Taj Allen, a dedicated player from the Boys Year 10 team.

Additionally, Steve McGee received the Monadelphous Past Players High Achievement Award for his invaluable contributions to both junior and senior club structures. Steve's dedication, along with the support of his family, has set a remarkable example within the club.

Craig Cahill, RTW, Logistics & Procurement Manager, shared his thoughts on the significance of the scholarship program.

“Through the Scholarships, Monadelphous is linked with two of the most iconic family names in the Club's 127-year-old history and is therefore regarded as a very special award,” Craig said.

“The persons that have received the scholarships so far are very diverse. They include members from our All-Star Disability Program, First Nations players, young female players, and state representatives from our juniors.

“They are presented with sporting vouchers which assist in meeting ongoing costs of playing sport like apparel, boots, membership, transport and so on.”
