When St Mary’s Primary School in Kalgoorlie discovered their soccer goals had become rusted and unsafe, our Kalgoorlie team was quick to step in, determined to ensure that the kids could continue chasing their dreams of becoming the next Sam Kerr.

Goldfields Branch Manager Luke Ryan was inspired to get involved when the school’s principal requested help in their newsletter.

“My four children go to St.Mary’s, and they all love playing soccer at school,” Luke said.

The workshop team, led by Dave Watson, went above and beyond by fabricating and painting two brand-new soccer goals. Since delivering these to the school, they’ve already been requested to make two more.

Their efforts have made a significant impact, allowing the children at St Mary’s to get back on the field and enjoy their games safely. The school even expressed their gratitude with a heartfelt message:

"A great big thank you to Luke Ryan and the workers at Monadelphous for making our fantastic new soccer goals. The children are really enjoying using them. We really appreciate the support Monadelphous is giving the school!"

Thanks to the team’s commitment to the local community, which is greatly appreciated by the school and the young soccer players!
