Since joining Monadelphous in 2019, Tim Hall has experienced some pretty big milestones, both professionally and personally.
What started as a graduate accountant role has grown into a rewarding career journey. Outside of work, Tim has married his partner, Courtney, welcomed their son, Jack, and grown their family with rescue dog Henry.
Now a Senior Management Accountant in MMS, Tim says the opportunities he has been given at Monadelphous have played a big part in shaping his career.
"I started as a graduate accountant and was able to work across different parts of the business, which gave me a really strong understanding of how Monadelphous operates," Tim said.
"Completing my Chartered Accountancy while working full time was definitely one of the biggest challenges, but it's helped me get to where I am today."
After joining Engineering Construction, Tim rotated through Business Services before moving into Project Accounting to support the Worsley South32 contract and making his way to his current role within MMS.
For Tim, one of the biggest highlights of his career has been the variety of experiences and people he has worked with along the way.
"The part I enjoy most about my role is that every week is different. The variety keeps things interesting and always brings opportunities to expand your skillset," Tim said.
"Our team has a strong culture of supporting each other, sharing knowledge and pushing for continuous improvement, which makes even the more challenging months enjoyable."
Outside of work, Tim's focus is firmly on family. He and Courtney welcomed their son Jack on Easter Sunday this year, adding to their family alongside their rescue dog Henry, who joined them in 2020.
Growing up in Perth with two older brothers, Tim jokes that he was always the one stirring the pot.
"I assume I was mum's final attempt at having a girl," Tim said.
When he does get some downtime, Tim enjoys watching the footy as a passionate Fremantle supporter, playing golf, kickboxing and catching up on his favourite TV shows.
One Monadelphous tradition that stands out for Tim is the Annual Footy Cup.
"It's always a great day and night to socialise with people across the business," Tim said.
