Superannuation - salary sacrifice
Our salary sacrifice options allow our people* to allocate a portion of their salary directly to their nominated superannuation fund before income tax is calculated, called salary sacrificing.

All requests to set up, terminate or amend a superannuation salary sacrifice arrangement must be made via the Salary Sacrifice to Superannuation Form available from your Site Admin, and emailed to payroll for processing.

* Superannuation salary sacrificing arrangements are not available to employees assigned to work in an overseas location.

Refer to the Salary Sacrifice to Superannuation guide available from your Site Admin for details before submitting a request.

Important note, it is not possible to reverse sent to superannuation funds under this type of salary sacrifice arrangement. There may also be Government contribution limits that may impact your decision. Monadelphous cannot be held responsible for any decisions in relation to salary sacrifice made by employees.
All salary packaging is individual to an employee's circumstances. Before entering into any type of salary packaging arrangement, it is recommended that employee's seek independent financial advice first to ensure the best financial outcome.

Salary packaging - Vehicle (novated leasing)

Our people* can take advantage of tax benefits with a novated lease and save by bundling car repayments and running costs into one simple regular payment. So, on pay day, they pay less income tax and have more money for the things that matter to them.

You can find out more by contacting our providers:
* Novated leasing arrangements are available to permanent employees assigned to work in Australia.

Eligibility, minimum standards, and other requirements apply. Refer to the Salary Packaging Guideline available from your Site Admin for details.

Important note, salary packaging involves a regular payment deducted from each pay cycle for the duration of the lease, including those pay cycles that may be lower than average for wages employees. Onus is on the employee to contact their lease provider to ensure any shortfall on their regular lease payment is met from post-tax dollars. Salary packaging is individual to an employee's circumstances. Before entering into any type of salary packaging arrangement, it is recommended that employee's seek independent financial advice first to ensure the best financial outcome.

Remote area salary packaging - living expenses

Permanent employees who live and work in ATO defined remote areas* have the opportunity to salary package the cost of rent, mortgage interest and residential utilities.
*This is not available for casual employees or those in a fly in fly out / drive in drive out arrangement (i.e. not living and working in the ATO defined remote area).

Some of the eligible areas include Karratha WA, Roxby Downs SA, Port Hedland WA, Kalgoorlie WA, Newman WA, Chinchilla QLD, and Muswellbrook NSW.
