G’day everyone,

In August you may have seen that Monadelphous’ end of year results were released, with the Maintenance and Industrial Services division achieving record revenue in 2021/22. Thank you to everyone in our Eastern Region business for your hard work over the year which has contributed to these strong financial results as well as to maintaining our solid reputation for delivering consistently. You can read more about our full year results inside this newsletter.

Across the business we also marked R U OK? Day yesterday, with this year’s theme about checking in on your mates and having meaningful conversations with them. It is a good reminder about the importance of mental health and wellbeing and that simply listening and giving someone your time might be exactly what they need. If you need someone to talk to, remember too that all Monadelphous employees and their immediate families can access our employee assistance program (EAP).

On Thursday 25 August you would have received a link to complete the 2022 Monadelphous Employee Survey. The completely anonymous survey is an opportunity to have your say and share your individual perspective and feedback on what it is like to work for Monadelphous.

It is open until Sunday 11 September and is about continuous improvement so I encourage you to take the time to complete this as soon as possible – if you have not already done so. If you have any questions about the survey or have not received the link via email or text message, please contact employeefeedback@monadel.com.au or speak to your Manager.

Onto this edition of In the Loop, a snapshot of some of the news from around the business. We celebrate five years of RIG, help inspire Mackay students for their future careers, share some of the recent customer feedback we have received and recognise our teams’ efforts in safety and innovation.

Thanks again to all for your ongoing commitment to our business, I look forward to seeing what we can achieve in the remainder of 2022.

Enjoy reading and please keep yourselves and each other safe.
