In October, the Gladstone Engineering Alliance (GEA) presented their annual Industry Awards, presented as part of the GEA 2025 Major Industry, Energy and Manufacturing Conference Program.
The awards are Central Queensland’s industry supply chain’s night of nights and are an opportunity for business leaders and project partners to come together and celebrate the successes of the highly skilled supply chain.
Monadelphous was a finalist across three award categories:
- The Safety Excellence Award
Awarded to an organisation that demonstrates a long-standing commitment to maintaining a safe and injury-free workplace. Safety and wellbeing should be integrated into the organisation’s core values, influencing operations, leadership decisions and employee engagement.
Awarded to an organisation must demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting an inclusive and respectful workplace culture that supports employee development and well-being. The organisation should show evidence of cultural initiatives that promote a positive, people first environment, with a focus on creating opportunities for all employees to thrive.
- The Wayne Peachey Memorial Award
Awarded to an individual employee that demonstrates a consistent history of delivering quality service in their role, showing dedication and loyalty.
Monadelphous came home with a clean sweep of awards – winning all three categories we were finalists in, with Senior HSE Coordinator Kellie Davidson taking out the individual honours in the Wayne Peachey Memorial Award category.
Congratulations to everyone involved. These wins reflect the dedication, precision and pride our people bring to the work we do.
